Marijan Crtalić

Marijan Crtalić (Sisak, 1968 – Sisak, 2020) graduated with a degree in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 1992. He was a multimedia artist dealing with performance, video, installations, photography, and through his works he was re-examining his own identity and critically questioning social everyday life. In 2007, he launched the project Invisible Sisak, from which the projects Possibilities of Resistance, Active Memory and the Festival Željezara developed. He was a member of the Croatian Society of Fine Artists and the Croatian Association of Independent Artists.
