Raša Todosijević

Raša Todosijević (Belgrade, 1945) deals with performance, video art, installations and painting. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1969. He was one of the first artists who, in the seventies of the last century, introduced conceptual art – New Art Practice, and new media to the then Yugoslav scene. His most famous works What is art? (Was ist Kunst?), God loves the Serbs (Gott liebt die Serben) and many others ensured his worldwide reputation. He has been exhibiting independently since 1969, and since 1970 he has participated in numerous group exhibitions in the country and abroad. His works are in the permanent exhibitions of many world museums. He has been a member of ULUS since 1971. He has been publishing reviews and stories since 1973.
