Eugen Feller

Eugen Feller (Split, 1942) is self-taught painter active since 1957. At the beginning of the 1960s, while making the Malampije, paintings of relief surfaces and monochrome structures of thick plaster layers, Feller affirmed himself as one of the most radical representatives of informel in contemporary Croatian art. His more recent work inclines towards minimalism and abstraction. Feller lived in Italy from 1969 to 2001, when he moved to Zagreb. He works primarily in the medium of drawings and prints.
