Darko Fritz

Darko Fritz (Rijeka, 1966) is an artist and independent curator, researcher and graphic designer. He studied architecture at the University of Zagreb (1988-1990) and media art at Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam (1990-1992). He curated a number of exhibitions dealing with computer and net art, such as Culture of graphic design in the Netherlands (1999), I am still alive (internet art and computer form of the sixties, 2000), CLUB.NL (contemporary art and art networks from the Netherlands, 2000) and Lights from Zagreb (Interactive Installation Exhibition, 2001). Since the year 2006, he has been leading the grey) (area, space of contemporary and media art in Korcula. In 2010, he begins his research on the beginnings of computer generated art in the Netherlands, which was rewarded by BKVB Fonds, Amsterdam. He lives and works in Zagreb, Amsterdam and Korcula.
