Nina Ivančić (Zagreb, 1953) graduated in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in the class of prof. Šime Perić in 1977, and in 1979 she received her master’s degree at the Master Workshop for Painting in Zagreb with prof. Ljubo Ivančić and prof. Nikola Reiser. She received a Fulbright Scholarship for Painting, MFA Program in Painting, Columbia University, New York in 1987. From 1986-93 lives and works in New York, and since 1999 has been a professor at the Academy of Arts in Split. She has exhibited in more than thirty solo and numerous group exhibitions at home and abroad. Her works are in numerous private and public collections. She lives and works in Zagreb and Split.
