Marko Pašalić

Marko Pašalić (Zenica, 1976) graduated from high school in Osijek, and from 2001 to 2004 studied at the Graphic Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo. Since 2004 he has been studying at the Graphic Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. He has been performing and exhibiting since 2003. He had his first performance at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo (‘Transmutation’, 2003), and exhibited for the first time in 2007 (‘Juhu-hu’, VN Gallery, Zagreb). He expresses himself through the medium of performance, video performance, art events, art actions, video and multimedia installations, digital graphics. Works: Transmutation (performance, 2003), Hedgehog’s house (intervention in public space, 2004), Memento mori (wall calendar, 2004), Coniunctio (video performance, 2005), Leisure room (art event, 2009), Moment of Force (performance, 2011), Identity of Change (installation, 2013), Portrait of an Artist as a Boy (performance, 2013), etc. He is a member of HDLU and HZSU.
