Iva Šarić

Iva Šarić (Varaždin, 1985) finished primary school and high school in Varaždin. She enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 2004. For the academic year 2004/2005, she received a commendation for successful work. She graduated in 2010 from the Teaching Department in the graphics class of full professor of art Ines Krasić. She is the recipient of the special Rector’s Award for the group project Winter on the Island, Vis 2008; the HAZU Graphics Cabinet Award at the 5th Croatian Triennial of Graphics, 2009; 1st prize at the International Exhibition “19th Miniatures”, 2016; award at the 4th International Triennial of Self-Portrait “The Concept of Myself”; Robert Adam Award (for work on the theme of Diocletian’s Palace in Split) at the 8th International Graphic Biennial “Splitgraphic” 2017; 1st prize in the field of photography at Rijeka mini art (First Salon of Miniature Art) 2017; diploma of the Seventh International Biennale “Ex libris” 2018 and Grand prix at Rijeka mini art (Second Salon of Miniature Art) 2018. She is continuously engaged in graphics and photography as a hobby. Shexhibited at about 70 collective and independent exhibitions in the country and abroad. She is a member of HDLVaraždin.
