Lana Stojićević
Lana Stojićević (Šibenik, 1989) is a visual artist who works in the field of artistic research. With performative and staged photo series, costumes, props and architectural models, she explores topics such as illegal housing, architectural and industrial heritage, environmental pollution, contemporary neo-styles, devastation of cultural heritage and landscape transformation as a consequence of mass tourism. She graduated in 2012 from the Painting Department of the Academy of Arts in Split. Since 2022, she has been employed as an assistant professor at the Visual Culture and Fine Arts Department of the Academy of Arts in Split. She is the winner of several awards, and has participated in several residency programs, including Residency Unlimited in New York, Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, and Kulturvermittlung Steiermark in Graz.
